Poptropica Islands Edit
Poptropica consists of many islands (currently 20), that can be completed by finishing the quest for the island. Once a player enters Poptropica, he/she chooses an island to explore. To travel between islands, you board a blimp, which travels between the Main Streets of the various islands. Every island has it's own story. Usually you must defeat a villain or otherwise save the island from some sort of emergency, and you are awarded an Island Medallion, along with 100 credits that can be used in the store. This is a list of the current islands:
Early Poptropica IslandEdit
Early Poptropica This is the first and most easiest island in Poptropica. The citizens of Early Poptropica are all losing items, and it's up to you to get them back! On Main Street, there's the PopArt museum with works of artists like Leonardo DaVinci, Vincent Van Gogh, and Georges-Pierre Seurat. Before Shark Tooth Island came out it was possible to enter the side where there were two buttons: Start Over or Play.
Shark Tooth IslandEdit
Shark Tooth Island is being terrorized by the great Booga Shark, but the only person who can save them is missing! Take Professor Hammerhead's place, and, with the help of a native islander, calm down the shark. And then rescue the Professor, of course! This was the second island released in Poptropica.
Time Tangled IslandEdit
Time Tangled Island is the third island released for Poptropica. This is one of the more complicated islands, and also a very fun one. In Time Tangled, you must reverse the damage done by Pendulum, whose time machine malfunctions and ruins the future while he is on vacation. You, and only you can fix the future for future generations! During the quest, you'll find some historical figures like Thomas Edison, Lewis and Clark, and Leonardo Da Vinci. You can also visit yourself 50 years older after you have restored the past. Professor Pendulum can also be found on Shark Tooth Island in the Tourist Center. The island was supposed to be called Time Twisted Island!
24 Carrot IslandEdit
24 Carrot Island An evil rabbit is terrorizing the town and all it's citizens by stealing carrots, which is leaving the economy in shambles! It's your duty to defeat Dr. Hare, and bring peace back to the island. Dr. Hare has built a giant robot bunny inside what used to be a carrot cake factory. There's a sequel to this one called Dr. Hare's Secret Lab, avalable in the Poptropica store. This is a very exciting island and longer than most others.
Super Power IslandEdit
Super Power Island A giant radioactive meteor has crashed into the County Prison, freeing six criminals and giving them super powers! Become a superhero and stop this madness! To do this you'll have to face someone who can copy themselves infinite times, a madman that can run much faster than light, and flying Betty, who doesn't look so harmless until you see her glowing orbs hurtling towards you.
Spy Island The secret forces of Spy Island have discovered a new enemy -- the B.A.D. (Bald And Dangerous) organization, which is plotting to make everyone on Poptropica completely bald! It's up to (again) to become a spy agent looking for your missing fellow spies, and find out someone very close to you is betraying the whole group on the way. Spy Island is guaranteed to be a hair-raising adventure!
Nabooti Island Welcome to Africa! In this fun quest based on the Choose Your Own Adventure book, you must fly around the African continent, searching for the missing sacred jewels of the Nabooti Tribe (fictional) This island was made in conjunction with the publishers of Choose Your Own Adventure books.
Big Nate IslandEdit
Big Nate Island Enter the world of Big Nate, a wisecracking sixth-grader who holds the all-time world record for detentions at his school. You have to help him find a treasure that was buried some 100 years ago, that could help save Nate's school from closing down. Nate doesn't really care if it does, though... This island is based on the comic strip Big Nate by Lincoln Peirce.
Astro-Knights Island The princess is missing! Whatever happened to her is for you to find out. You must travel to three distant and heavily armed planets to pick up the other three knights who failed to find the princess. Then you have to take them to the Crystal Gate, a bridge into the dimension of Mordred, a half-jester, half-robot madman whose dream is to rule the universe.
Counterfeit Island Some very valuable pieces of art are on display at the Museum Fantastique. But rumor has it the notorious international art thief the Black Widow is out to get one particular item... the Scream. Unfortunately, it's up to you to find out because you're under arrest. You must go around the French island of Counterfeit looking for clues, and intrude the secret hideout of the Black Widow!
Reality TV IslandEdit
Reality TV Island is based on the hit reality TV show Survivor. Welcome to a world where everyone is addicted to television... and one show in particular. That's Reality TV Island, a reality game show in which seven contestants compete in deadly games for a week, until only one remains! YOU will be on this show, competing for the grand prize, and Poptrickia is here to help you with it!
Mythology Island features gods from Greek mythology, such as Zeus and Aphrodite. Everyone trembles under Zeus, ruler of the heavens! But when you find an apple of immortality, Zeus asks for your help for finding the five sacred items. To do this, you will have to swim in sea monster-infested waters, explore a scary underworld, make friends with Hercules, and finally, fight Zeus!
Skullduggery Island is an exciting quest in which you are trying to eliminate the horrible pirate, Captain Crawfish. But first, you must collect pieces of a map from five different islands, fight evil sea monsters and wicked pirates, collect Doubloons to buy new ships, and prevent from going bankrupt!
Steamworks Island The silence of empty streets welcomes you. A world of metal and machinery, with a horrible secret hidden behind the killer mutant plants. You must figure out what has happened to the islands inhabitants, and put a stop to it! Steamworks is an island you will never forget.
Great Pumpkin IslandEdit
Great Pumpkin Island is set with a Peanuts theme, a comic strip by Charles Schulz. Halloween is here, and the Peanuts are having a great time. This island's based on the It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown TV special. In this island, you can help Snoopy escape from the Red Baron, play party games with Lucy, help Schroeder play his piano, and finally try to convince Linus the Great Pumpkin doesn't exist!
Cryptids Island In this island, you must help an eccentric billionaire Mr. Harold Mews, who is promising a million dollar reward, find the proof he is looking for about cryptids--hidden creatures. The hunt is on for Bigfoot, Nessie, and other legendary beasts.
Wild West IslandEdit
Wild West Island takes place in the unsettled Wild West. This quest is full of cowboys, bandits, horses and dangerous rides in a train and mine cart. You are traveling through four towns in the area and trying to stop a gang of outlaws with the leader, El Mustachio Grande
Wimpy Wonderland IslandEdit
Wimpy Wonderland is based on the popular book series, Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney. Greg's little brother, Manny, is missing! Since Greg's to absorbed in video games to care, it's up to you to go around town, finding clues, and ultimately, Manny.
Red Dragon IslandEdit
Red Dragon Island takes place in ancient Japan, and features characters from the Magic Tree House books. It's based on Dragon of the Red Dawn. The description for the island preview on YouTube said "A new island is coming to Poptropica! What will the name of this new island be? The kanji holds the answer!" Kanji is Chinese characters used in Japanese writing.The kanji in the video is 赤竜, also known as Red Dragon. In this exciting quest you must save a village from the rule of a horrible shogun. With the help of your friends Jack and Annie, you can become a ninja and stop this madness!
Shrink Ray IslandEdit
Shrink Ray Island A young genius has invented a ray gun that shrinks anything it touches - including you! But when the scientist and her invention go missing, you'll have to keep the shrink ray from falling into the wrong hands, and find a way to bring yourself back to normal size. To solve a problem this big, you've got to think small!
